I’d done a fair bit of research for breakfast and other meal options. Also for galleries, art, pottery studios. These lists crossed at La Recova, a (mostly) pottery shop with some light meal options. I didn’t visit until after breakfast on my last day in the city. The walls are mounted with tools and farm implements and the cabinets display ceramic ware with simpler patterns than most of the moorish pieces around the city. I browsed, amidst brunchers brunching, and saw that La Recova had created a very stylized meal presentation: a simple toasted slice (a standard starting point in Andalusia) - and an egg crate with its convexes filled with several spreads. From what I saw on the tables you might order just a few or many flavors. Creativity all around. A few of these images aren’t mine, downloaded when I looked for images to fill out my story.
Later I returned to the mercado…since I hadn't done any tapas or traditional meals, so lunch. I stood at the counter, as one does, for a few items. The rosado was perfect, the navajas were a bit overcooked though.
